The Indian Airforce and Indian carriers will operate 19 evacuation flights today to the neighbouring countries of Ukraine to bring back stranded Indians. A total of 3,726 Indian nationals will board these flights. During Operation Ganga, Air India, the Indian Air Force, and Indigo will run eight flights from Bucharest and five from Budapest, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said in a series of tweets. Three flights will leave Rzeszow, two from Suceava, and one from Kosice today.
A high-level meeting on the Ukraine crisis was held yesterday evening by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. From the beginning of the conflict, Mr. Modi has continuously chaired high-level meetings on the Ukraine crisis. During the meetings, Modi has reviewed the ongoing Operation Ganga efforts to bring back Indians stranded in Ukraine.
